Citation's

The c/n plate on any Citation can usually be found mounted on the door frame as you enter the aircraft. I don't believe there is an external c/n plate.

CITATION 500 / 501

The earliest Citation model identified by the number of windows - 4 - on each side. There is little external difference between the C.500 Citation (picture) and the C.501 Citation 1.

CITATION JET 525

The first of the "mini" biz-jets. The Citation Jet or C.525 is the sports car of the biz-jet world and has proved hugely successful as a short range corporate limo.

CITATION JET 525A / CJ2
To Follow

The CJ2 is a recent stretch of the original C.525 which has increased passenger windows from 4 to 6 (one in the door).

CITATION 550 / S550

In simple terms, a stretched C500 identifiable by 6 fuselage windows (one in the door).

CITATION 560

An upgraded and stretched C550 identifiable by 7 fuselage windows (one in the door). The military version of the C.560 is designated the C-35.

CITATION 560 XL

A combination of the Citation 650's nose+fuselage and the Citation 550/560's tail !! Easily mistaken for a C650 if you don't get a clear view of the back end !!!

CITATION 650

A larger, longer range Citation identifiable by its "T" tail and wider fuselage.

CITATION 750

The largest of the Citation family, the Citation 750 or Citation X (ten) is a monster with a huge tail and large engines for its size. Affectionately known as a "Slicer", it is reputedly the fastest biz-jet in its class with a maximum speed getting close to Mach 1 !!!
